Razlog holds one of the biggest folklore festivals in Bulgaria – “Pirin Sings”. It is being organized in the Predel area every second year at the end of August. It celebrates the richness and variety of folklore heritage in the Pirin region: songs, dances, customs, traditional costumes and tales. Every year the Predel area holds the “Rock Predel” festival. It is one of the first rock festivals in Bulgaria and is meant to be the Bulgarian Woodstock. It is organized with bands from Blagoevgrad, Razlog and the region. The town of Razlog takes pride in the impressive Kukeri (mummers) celebrations on January 1st every year. People dressed in goat fur gather to celebrate the New Year and to chase the evil spirits. This is a festival which is worth seeing for everybody.
